The walls of a house collect dirt, cobwebs, mould and black streaks, especially on the shady south side and anywhere near the coast. Blasting painted render or weatherboards with a high-pressure wand can strip paint, force water behind cladding and etch soft surfaces. Soft washing is the safer way to do it.
Soft washing uses low pressure and a cleaning solution that kills mould and mildew at the root, then rinses clean. The result lasts longer than pressure alone because the growth is killed, not just knocked off the surface. We do eaves, fascias, gutters' outer faces and window frames as part of the wash.

What is the difference between soft washing and pressure washing?
Pressure washing uses high-pressure water and suits hard surfaces like concrete. Soft washing uses low pressure and a cleaning solution, which is safer for render, paint and cladding.
Is soft washing safe for my plants?
Yes, when done properly. We wet down and rinse surrounding plants before and after the wash.
Will it damage my paint?
No. Soft washing is used because it does not strip paint the way high pressure can.
