Most Sydney lawns are warm-season grasses such as buffalo, kikuyu and couch. They grow hard from spring to autumn and slow right down in winter, so a lawn that looks great in July can be ankle-deep by November. We mow at a height that suits your grass and the season, which keeps it thick, shades out weeds and stops it scorching in summer.
Every visit finishes the same way: crisp edges along paths and garden beds, a whipper-snip around fences, posts and trees, and driveways and paths blown clean. You come home to a lawn that looks finished, not just cut.

How often should my lawn be mowed?
For most Sydney lawns, fortnightly in the warmer months and every three to four weeks in winter. Kikuyu and couch grow fastest and may need weekly cuts in a wet summer.
Do you take the clippings away?
Yes. Clippings are collected and taken with us, and hard surfaces are blown clean before we leave.
Can you mow a really overgrown lawn?
Yes. We cut long grass down in stages rather than scalping it in one pass, which gives the lawn the best chance to green back up.
Do I need to be home?
No. As long as we can get into the yard and pets are inside, we can mow while you are at work.
